Synopsis
The Deeper You Dig (2019), co-directed by Toby Poser and John Adams, is an American indie horror — watch online on iFILM. Ivy reads tarot cards for a living and raises fourteen-year-old Echo in a quiet stretch of rural upstate New York. Kurt moves in down the road to restore a derelict farmhouse. Then one night, his car and Echo are in the wrong place at the same time.
Kurt buries what he did. Figures dirt and silence will be enough. But Echo won't stay buried — her presence bleeds into his thoughts, his sleep, the walls of the house itself. Meanwhile Ivy feels the absence growing and starts pulling at threads she can't quite see yet.
The entire film was built by one family: Toby Poser and John Adams wrote it, scored it, directed it, and play two of the three leads; their daughter Zelda Adams is Echo.
