Tarot

Each card drawn becomes a death sentence. The Hanged Man. The Tower. Death. The monsters that follow are designed around the iconography of medieval tarot illustrations — each one visually distinct, each arrival staged as its own contained set-piece. The friends race to undo the curse before the last card falls due. Olwen Fouéré brings a quiet menace to the periphery that the younger cast can't quite match on their own.
