Double Whammy

Ray's week: his back gives out at the worst possible moment on the job, his partner seems romantically fixated on him, two amateur screenwriters across the hall keep pestering him for procedural trivia, and the super in his building gets stabbed on his own daughter's orders. Elizabeth Hurley plays his chiropractor, who may be helping or may be making things considerably worse. Luis Guzmán is the long-suffering partner. Steve Buscemi turns up in a small role, as he tends to in films like this.
