The Chosen One (El elegido, 2023) is a Mexican Netflix series you can watch online on iFILM. Twelve-year-old Jodie lives in a small fishing town on the Baja California coast. A freak accident leaves him with abilities he never asked for: water turns to wine in his hands, the lame stand up and walk.

He has the powers of Jesus and the priorities of any kid — impress a girl, ride his skateboard, be left alone. The adults around him see a savior and start pulling him in every direction. Adapted from Mark Millar and Peter Gross's comic American Jesus, the show stars Dianna Agron, Tenoch Huerta and Carlos Bardem.
