Season 2
Synopsis
A Young Doctor's Notebook Season 2 — watch online on iFILM: four episodes that returned to BBC Two in 2013 with Russia now in civil war and Mureyevo no longer safely isolated.
The morphine shortfall can no longer be papered over: an official inspection is coming and the dispensary ledger tells the truth. Cocaine patches the gap badly and briefly. Then the White Guard passes through, bringing an aristocrat named Natasha, and Bomgard's attention — which Pelageya already had a claim on — tilts entirely toward her. Pelageya's fever worsens. He notices, eventually. In 1935, the older doctor rides a train toward something unresolved; in 1918, a derailed locomotive forces the young one into a decision he cannot undo.
The second season trades some of the earlier dark comedy for weight. Consequences arrive that the first season only promised. Stream all episodes of A Young Doctor's Notebook Season 2 online on iFILM.
