Meg, Nicky and Usman treat Kingdom Scrolls — a fantasy MMORPG — as the one thing that actually matters. Jobs exist, relationships exist, but both are subordinate to the raid schedule. Then Russell bumbles in: a gaming newcomer who doesn't understand what he's joined and keeps pulling the group into offline situations they'd rather skip. The series cuts between real life and in-game footage not as a stylistic flourish but as an honest description of how these characters experience time. Alexa Davies is the standout, playing someone who knows exactly how deep in she is and doesn't see a problem.
