Synopsis
Start-Up (시동, 2019) is a Korean coming-of-age dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. Eighteen years old, no plan, and a mother whose slaps land harder than her old volleyball serves — so one day the kid just walks out.
Tae-gil bolts from home and ends up delivering food for a run-down Chinese restaurant out in the sticks. The place runs on the silent muscle of its cook, played by Ma Dong-seok, who looks like trouble and turns out to teach the boy more than any lecture ever did. Back in the city his friend Sang-pil (Park Jung-min) signs on with a debt-collection crew and learns fast how the street chews up boys like him.
