Chris Hemsworth plays the God of Thunder with total deadpan commitment — still trying to pay rent in Asgardian coins, still bewildering Darryl (Daley Pearson) with the logistics of superhero life. The joke is simple and it lands: strip away the cape and the hammer, and Thor is genuinely helpless in a share-house.
