Season 2
Synopsis
Watch Sunderland 'Til I Die (2020), Season 2 online on iFILM — six episodes that find the club sunk to the third division after back-to-back relegations, now under new owners Stewart Donald and Charlie Methven.
This run shifts its gaze off the pitch. Donald and Methven dig the club out of financial ruin, butt heads with agents over young scorer Josh Maja's contract, and chase a record League One crowd through Methven's marketing push. The January window becomes a sprint to land a striker before deadline. Spring brings a trip to Wembley and a final the long-suffering support travels to London for in their thousands.
Six episodes instead of last year's eight, and the camera leans toward the boardroom rather than the dressing room. Fans who came for the football get more politics this time. Stream Sunderland 'Til I Die Season 2 online on iFILM.
