About
Synopsis
Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy (1996) is a Canadian comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Kelly Makin and built around the entire Kids in the Hall troupe — Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson each playing multiple roles.
A young scientist invents a pill that locks the brain onto its owner's happiest memory. The drug becomes a global phenomenon. Side effects are the rest of the movie.
The film runs as a dark pharmaceutical satire targeting corporate greed, media hype and the idea of happiness as something you can bottle. It's less a story than an anarchic sketch assault — weird, fast, and considerably darker than the premise suggests. Stream Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy (1996) on iFILM.
