The Passenger

The Passenger (La pasajera, 2022) is a Spanish horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A dark country road, a van, and a woman standing dead still in the middle of the asphalt.

The driver can't brake in time. They load the injured stranger in to rush her to a hospital, but she keeps acting wrong, and before long the passengers realize she isn't human at all. The one rule that might keep them breathing: don't sit next to her. Ramiro Blas and Cecilia Suárez head the cast.

Directors Raúl Cerezo and Fernando González Gómez cram an alien-infection creature feature and a four-hander comedy into a single cramped vehicle. There's plenty of gore, slime and nervous laughter. A treat for low-budget genre fans. Stream The Passenger (2022) online on iFILM.
