Synopsis
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) is Walt Disney Pictures' action-adventure fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Rob Marshall took the franchise in a new direction: no Will Turner, no Elizabeth Swann — just Jack Sparrow, played again by Johnny Depp, chasing the Fountain of Youth against three competing factions. Penélope Cruz joins as Angelica, Geoffrey Rush returns as Barbossa, and Ian McShane brings cold authority to the legendary Blackbeard. The film grossed over one billion dollars worldwide on a production budget of $379 million.
Jack is dragged into a race across the Atlantic and through treacherous jungle. The British crown wants the Fountain. So do the Spanish. So does Blackbeard — a man whose own crew is terrified of him. Angelica claims to be Blackbeard's daughter, and she may or may not be using Jack to save the old pirate's life. Mermaids guard the path. They are not friendly.
