The longer the case drags on, the clearer it gets that the "rescue" of 1997 wasn't what it looked like, and that time itself bends by different rules here. Directors Park Chul-hwan and Khan Lee keep the scale intimate — no blockbuster sprawl, just a tight multi-episode plot that leans on intrigue rather than effects.
