Synopsis
Lambert the Sheepish Lion (1952) is a classic Disney animated short you can watch online on iFILM. A mix-up by Mr. Stork drops a lion cub into a flock of gentle sheep, and little Lambert grows up among the lambs with no idea what he really is.
He sprouts into a huge beast, yet stays as timid and soft as the ewe who raised him. The other lambs love teasing the oversized scaredy-cat. Then one dark night a hungry wolf creeps toward the herd, and to save his mama, Lambert finally hears the call of his own nature. Director Jack Hannah keeps it to a tidy eight minutes, with narration by Sterling Holloway — the voice that would later become Winnie the Pooh.
