Synopsis
Den of Wolves (Cuna de Lobos, 1986) is a Mexican telenovela you can watch online on iFILM, and it's where one of Latin American television's most famous villains was born. At its heart is Catalina Creel, matriarch of a wealthy dynasty who will kill to make sure the inheritance lands with her own son.
Catalina wears an eyepatch she famously matches to every outfit, and from behind it she runs the Larios-Vilar family like a war: removing a husband, framing a stepson, manipulating anyone standing between her boy and the money. María Rubio owns the role, with Gonzalo Vega, Diana Bracho, Alejandro Camacho and Rebecca Jones around her. Across its episodes the show is one slowly tightening noose of a family power struggle.
