Season 1
A story about a kid with a dream. And the company that sold it to him.
Synopsis
Pepsi, Where's My Jet? (2022), Season 1 is a four-part documentary you can watch online on iFILM — the true story of a college kid who took a soda company at its word.
Back in 1995, a Pepsi ad flashed a prize: collect seven million points and a Harrier fighter jet is yours. Clearly a gag. John Leonard, twenty years old and living in Seattle, decided it wasn't, and found a loophole that skipped the impossible pile of cans. From there the season builds beat by beat — the check mailed to Pepsi, the panic inside corporate, a wall of lawyers, and a statement the Pentagon felt obliged to make. The last episode lands on the 1999 trial and circles back to a darker promotion the company would rather forget.
It runs like a tight Netflix crime-doc, leaning on interviews with the real players and grainy nineties footage. One for anyone who roots for the little guy against the machine. Stream Pepsi, Where's My Jet? Season 1 online on iFILM.
