Moana

Moana (2026) is the live-action take on Disney's island hit, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A musical family voyage steeped in Polynesian myth, directed by Hamilton's Thomas Kail, with Dwayne Johnson back as the shape-shifting demigod Maui.

The chief's daughter on Motunui hears the ocean calling and sails past her island's reef for the first time. Her people face a slow decline, and only a long journey across open water can turn it around. Her unlikely crewmate is Maui — boastful, larger than life, and not exactly eager to help. Sea monsters, storms and her own doubts all stand between Moana and home.

Newcomer Catherine Laga'aia takes the title role, alongside Rena Owen, John Tui and Jemaine Clement.
