Synopsis
Michael Jackson: The Verdict (2026) — watch online on iFILM, a documentary series directed by Nick Green. In the summer of 2005, a courtroom in Santa Barbara ran for twelve weeks as the most-watched trial in pop music history. The charges were serious. The outcome was acquittal. What happened in between is what this series is actually about.
Nick Green built it from the testimony side: prosecutor Ron Zonen, defense attorney Brian Oxman, reporter Diane Dimond who had tracked the story for years, Randy Jackson, and people who sat on the jury and heard everything. Martin Bashir — whose interview with Jackson set the whole investigation in motion — also appears.
The series doesn't treat the verdict as an ending. It uses the courtroom record to work through something harder to settle: how those twelve weeks reshaped what the public believes about Jackson, and why that question is still open. Stream Michael Jackson: The Verdict (2026) online on iFILM.
