Season 1
The Complete Epic
Synopsis
The Godfather: The Complete Novel for Television (1977), Season 1 is the four-part crime drama you can watch online on iFILM — Coppola's saga recut for TV, with the first two films arranged in chronological order and over an hour of restored footage stitched back in.
It opens on a young Vito Corleone climbing Sicily's mafia ladder and building the foundation his sons will inherit. From there the story moves to the failed hit on an aging Don, ordered by the Tattaglia and Barzini families, and the reckoning that pulls quiet Michael across a line he can't step back over. The final parts settle into Michael as a hardened don — alone, drifting from Kay, hunting a traitor inside his own syndicate. Watch all four episodes as one continuous rise.
This edit is for anyone who already knows both films and wants the Corleone story told straight, no jumps in time. Al Pacino, Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro lead. Stream The Godfather: The Complete Novel for Television Season 1 online on iFILM.
