A team of messenger spirits, led by Aniceto, is sent from the afterlife back to Earth. Three people are heading toward crossroads they cannot see. Their stories connect in ways only the messengers understand, and the window to help any of them is narrowing.
De Assis helmed the 2010 original Nosso Lar (internationally released as Astral City: A Spiritual Journey), drawn from the psychographed writings of Brazilian medium Chico Xavier, which drew record crowds for domestic Brazilian cinema that decade.
