Season 9
Synopsis
Kamen Rider (1988), Season 9 — watch online on iFILM. Forty-seven episodes of Japanese tokusatsu action, the run fans know as Black RX.
One month after Gorgom falls, Kotaro Minami wants nothing more than an ordinary life. The Crisis Empire has other plans. They abduct him, demand he serve, and when he refuses they hurl him into space — where sunlight and the King Stone rebuild him into Kamen Rider Black RX. From there the season is a long campaign: he unlocks Robo Rider and Bio Rider, walks into the Demon World, chases the kidnapped Hitomi across transformed identities, and faces the returning shadow of Shadow Moon. The Sahara household becomes his anchor, and what he fights for stops being duty and starts being people he loves.
Produced by Toei, this is late-Showa Kamen Rider at its most expansive: monster-of-the-week structure, multiple rider forms, and a finale where older Riders ride in together. Best suited to viewers who already enjoy old-school henshin shows rather than newcomers. Stream Kamen Rider Season 9 online on iFILM — all episodes, start to finish.
