Synopsis
Carrusel (1989) is a Mexican children's telenovela from Televisa you can watch online on iFILM. The show follows an elementary school class and their teacher Jimena through a full year of small crises, grudges, and the kind of loyalty that kids take more seriously than most adults.
At the center is an unlikely pull between Cirilo, a poor black boy with a quiet sense of dignity, and María Joaquina Villaseñor, the class's spoiled rich girl who can't quite explain why she keeps thinking about him. Their story runs alongside the full spectrum of classroom life — rivalries, teachers with troubles of their own, and parents who complicate everything.
