Synopsis
Alegrijes y Rebujos (2003) is a Mexican children's telenovela you can watch online on iFILM. A group of kids from poor families wanders into an old mansion the neighborhood swears is haunted.
What they find isn't a ghost but a kindly wizard everyone believed was dead. He helps each child draw out a hidden talent — singing, dancing — and teaches them that friendship and family matter more than anything else. Miguel Martínez and María Chacón carry the main story; both came up through the kids' reality contest Código F.A.M.A. before landing these roles.
The show aired across 2003 and 2004 and became a real hit in Mexico with kids and parents alike. Expect plenty of songs, dance numbers and old-fashioned, gentle magic — that plain warmth is the charm, especially next to slicker modern kids' TV. A young Diego Boneta even turns up among the cast.
