In Vienna, at the home of composer Johann Strauss, lives Johann Mouse — Jerry — who breaks into dance the moment a waltz starts and simply cannot stop. Tom spots the obvious opening. When Strauss goes away and the piano falls silent, the cat has no choice but to sit down and learn to play himself. The scheme works out better than expected: by the end, a dancing mouse and a piano-playing cat are giving a command performance for the Emperor.
