Synopsis
Fantastic Journey to Oz (2017) is a Russian animated fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Based on Alexander Volkov's Emerald City book series — a beloved Russian take on the world of Oz — the film features voices by Konstantin Khabensky, Dmitry Dyuzhev, and Sergey Shnurov.
The villain Urfin Juice has seized the Emerald City with his wooden soldier army and is already choosing a new name for the place. Standing in his way is a girl named Elly, who arrived in the Magic Land entirely by accident and needs to get home — but not before teaming up with a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman, and a Cowardly Lion to push him out.
Directed by Vladimir Toropchin, Fedor Dmitriev, and Darina Schmidt, this 75-minute adventure moves at a clip that keeps younger viewers engaged throughout.
