The Territory (Seasons 1–5)

The Territory (Polyarny, 2019) is a Russian crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Victor Gromov, once a Moscow underworld legend nicknamed the Butcher, has long since retired to a quiet country farm.

Then his old crew turns up and parks the mob's slush fund in his bank account. On the very day he's meant to hand it back, Victor takes a knock to the head and forgets the password completely. Running from his former partners, he winds up thousands of kilometers from Moscow in a tiny northern town called Polyarny-17, a place that turns out to be remarkably hard to leave. Mikhail Porechenkov carries the show as a thug stranded far out of his element.

Ivan Okhlobystin and Katerina Shpitsa round out the cast, with Konstantin Statsky and Mikhail Starchak directing.
