Synopsis
Family Fortune (Zolotoe dno, 2024) is a Russian drama from writer Sergey Minaev that you can watch online on iFILM. When a billion-dollar construction empire suddenly loses its owner, the late tycoon's heirs lunge at the inheritance.
Leading the attack from outside is the dead man's old business partner; defending the dynasty is the elderly Gradov patriarch, who built the company back in the wild 1990s before stepping aside. His ace is Nadezhda, the firm's sharp financial strategist — and, quietly, his son's mistress. From there it's all surveillance, blackmail, seduction and soft-spoken threats, and the deeper the wives, children and grandchildren get pulled in, the harder it becomes to tell allies from enemies.
The lavish cast features Alexey Guskov, Yulia Snigir, Pavel Popov and Alexander Novin. Minaev plays this not as a glossy ode to the rich but with cold irony: the more money, power and connections these people hold, the pettier and nastier their feud gets.
