Synopsis
Demon Wind (1990) is the cult low-budget horror you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Charles Philip Moore. The brutal, baffling deaths of Cory's grandparents have gnawed at him for years, so he drags a group of friends out to their derelict desert farm, set on dragging the truth into the light.
The locals beg him to steer clear — there's a skeleton nailed to a cross at the gate. He doesn't listen. After dark a thick white fog rolls in, and the demon wind takes the friends one by one, twisting them into snarling creatures from hell. Eric Larson plays Cory amid spellbooks, possessed bodies and gleefully cheap pyrotechnics. A scrappy Evil Dead descendant for VHS-era trash-horror diehards, it's clumsy, gory and oddly endearing.
