Nevskiy (2016) is a Russian crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Patrol officer Pavel Semyonov spent his career in a St. Petersburg housing estate — kicking down doors, working alone, hitting first and sorting it out later.

When he saves a businessman's daughter, the grateful father arranges Pavel's transfer to a precinct on Nevsky Prospekt, the city's main artery. The new station is polished and well-connected. Nobody there actually solves crimes; they manage relationships. The culture clash is immediate and not subtle.
