The footage captures speech therapy sessions, the boy's first steps, the day Steve loses the ability to use his hands, and the quiet work of building a foundation to help other ALS patients find purpose. Drew Brees and Eddie Vedder show up on camera — not for interviews, just as friends who came. Director J. Clay Tweel cut 110 minutes from years of material without looking away from any of it.
