Adipurush

Adipurush (2023) is an Indian epic fantasy from director Om Raut, available to watch online on iFILM. The film adapts the Ramayana — one of the core epics of Hindu tradition — with Prabhas as Prince Raghava of Kosala and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, king of the demons.

Raghava is midway through a fourteen-year forest exile with his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon) and his brother Shesh when Lankesh abducts Janaki as an act of revenge. What follows is an alliance with the Vanar army — led by the warrior Bajrang (Devdatta Nage) — a march to the island of Lanka, and a siege built on the scale the myth demands. The confrontation between divine duty and demonic power is drawn in clean, unambiguous strokes.
