Synopsis
Someday or One Day (想見你, 2019) is a Taiwanese time-travel drama you can watch online on iFILM. Grieving Yu-Hsuan can't move past the plane crash that killed her boyfriend Chuan-Sheng — until she stumbles on a 1998 photograph showing a boy who looks exactly like him, standing beside a girl who looks exactly like her.
From there the story turns into the puzzle fans pulled apart frame by frame. Yu-Hsuan is somehow pulled back to 1998, waking inside a schoolgirl's body and meeting a teenager who could be Chuan-Sheng's double. The mystery coils around a cassette tape, borrowed memories, and whether a death can be rewritten. Huang Tian-Ren directs, with Alice Ko and Greg Hsu in the leads.
The series became a cult favorite well beyond Taiwan, and it earns it: the romance is only half the draw, the other half a tightly built loop that has you rewatching the early episodes with new eyes.
