Synopsis
Popeye the Slayer Man (2025) is a low-budget American slasher you can watch online on iFILM. The spinach-chomping sailor gets rebuilt as a monster.
A group of would-be filmmakers slips into an abandoned spinach cannery to shoot a documentary about the "Sailor Man" said to haunt the building and the nearby docks. The legend turns out to be real. What stalks them is a hulking, one-eyed killer twisted out of the old cartoon hero, and the night becomes a straight body count in the dark.
The film rides the public-domain horror wave — the same trick that turned Winnie the Pooh into a maniac — and leans into grime, tight corridors and gore over plot. Director Robert Michael Ryan keeps it lean and nasty, and the 18+ rating is earned. Stream Popeye the Slayer Man online on iFILM.
