The 35th Test Platoon is where misfits end up. Takeru Kusunagi can't fire a gun and keeps fighting with a blade in an age that has moved past him. Ouka Ohtori — nicknamed "Bloody Reaper" — gets demoted into the platoon after acting unilaterally one too many times.
