Date A Live (2013) is a Japanese anime you can watch online on iFILM. Thirty years before the story opens, a "spacequake" wiped out the heart of Eurasia and killed at least 150 million people. The cause was never a natural disaster. It is the Spirits, beings whose arrival on Earth tears the world apart.

Shido Itsuka thinks he is just another high schooler living with his adoptive sister Kotori. Then he meets a girl at the epicenter of a spacequake and learns she is one of the Spirits. He also learns he has a rare gift to seal their destructive power. The method is the joke that drives the whole show: he has to make each Spirit fall in love with him and kiss her.
