Ale is a motorcycle racer who drifts through his summers without much consequence. Summer is local, self-contained, and not remotely interested in being swept off her feet. Rebecca Kobo Edogamhe and Ludovico Tersigni play the collision of these two people on the Adriatic coast with enough friction to make you believe the attraction is inconvenient for both of them. A second storyline follows Summer's younger sister through her own season of firsts.
