There is Only a MiG

"There Is Only a MiG" (2025) is a Russian wartime comedy you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Alexander Zhigalkin. The year is 1944. Several Soviet officers — grounded after hospital stays or sidelined by vision and speech problems — are posted to a decoy airfield, a carefully constructed fake meant to mislead the German air command.

The problem: the Nazis take the bait and start treating it like the real thing. Pilot Ivan Polivanov, played by Daniil Popov, finds out at the worst possible time. Zhigalkin directed and also took a role himself. Vladimir Ilyin, Alexei Shevchenko, and Igor Ugolnikov round out the cast.
