Matched (2024) is a Japanese crime thriller directed by Eiji Uchida — watch it online on iFILM. Rinka downloads a dating app, gets matched with a man whose photo belongs to someone else's face entirely, and cuts the date short.

Then the murders start. Every victim met their killer through the same app, and the man Rinka walked away from — Tomu — becomes the prime suspect. Daisuke Sakuma plays him with a quiet, unsettling stillness. Tao Tsuchiya carries the film as Rinka, holding a tightly wound tension as the strange things around her multiply. The 18+ rating is earned through sustained unease rather than graphic content.
