Synopsis
Animal Friends (2027) is an R-rated American comedy-adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Director Peter Atencio — whose Keanu (2016) proved he knows how to build a movie around a ridiculous premise — follows two fugitive animals racing across the country to find the ranch they once called home. Hot on their trail: a DEA agent and a Fish and Wildlife ranger, an "odd couple" with their own scores to settle.
Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa lead the cast. Joining them: Aubrey Plaza, Dan Levy, Addison Rae, Lil Rel Howery, Vince Vaughn, Eric André, and Rob Delaney. You don't assemble a lineup like that for a quiet film. The chemistry between the two leads is the real engine here — Reynolds plays deadpan chaos so naturally he barely seems to be working, and Momoa swings the opposite direction.
