Synopsis
Paradox Effect (2024) — watch online on iFILM — is a tight crime thriller directed by Scott Weintrob with Olga Kurylenko and Harvey Keitel. An Italian-American co-production that runs 87 minutes and wastes none of them: from the opening scene the clock is already running.
A former addict's life falls apart when her daughter is grabbed by a powerful crime lord who wants ransom in hours, not days. The only ally she can find is a corrupt Interpol agent whose son is being held in the same situation. Together they go after a string of criminal operations to raise the cash, while both the syndicate and law enforcement close in from different directions. Oliver Trevena rounds out the lead cast.
