Taklee Genesis (2024) is a Thai sci-fi action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Chookiat Sakveerakul. The premise: during the Cold War, a secret US military unit tested an experimental teleporter at a base in Thailand. The device was never finished. After the war it was left behind — and someone started using it illegally.
Thirty years later, Stella (Paula Taylor) picks up a radio signal from her missing father, a former agent who vanished after a ritual involving the abandoned machine. He is stuck in a time loop. Stella and her crew jump back through time to pull him out, running into giant kaiju, hostile extraterrestrials and a full-scale apocalypse that apparently also needs stopping.
At nearly two and a half hours, Taklee Genesis packs Cold War espionage, creature-feature spectacle and a time-loop puzzle into a single film without slowing down much. Stream it in full online on iFILM.
