Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers - To Live and Die in Starlight
Synopsis
Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers (2002) is a science-fiction action film set in the Babylon 5 universe, and you can watch it online on iFILM. After Ranger David Martel pulls back from a fight, he's punished with command of the Liandra — a battered twenty-year-old Minbari ship that crew members swear is haunted.
The Anla'shok creed leaves no room to argue: we live for the One, we die for the One. Martel, played by Dylan Neal, chose to live, and that choice made him an outcast. Now his patched-up vessel is ferrying high-ranking ambassadors, among them the unmistakable G'Kar (Andreas Katsulas), toward the oldest city ever recorded. The dig points to a civilization so ancient that the dreaded Shadows look like insects beside it.
Directed by Michael Vejar, this was a feature-length pilot meant to launch a new series, written by Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski. The show was never picked up, which leaves the film as a bittersweet standalone chapter for fans wondering what the next saga might have been. Stream The Legend of the Rangers (2002) online on iFILM.
