TV-14Season 1
The truth doesn't just vanish.
Synopsis
MH370: The Plane That Disappeared (2023), Season 1 — a three-episode Netflix documentary you can watch online on iFILM. In 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared from radar eight minutes after takeoff. Two hundred thirty-nine people. No distress call. No wreckage for years.
The series structures itself around three competing explanations. Episode one focuses on the pilot — his history, his route, what the final voice recording does and doesn't tell us. Episode two follows journalist Jeff Wise, whose thinking shifts after a second Malaysia Airlines crash; he arrives at a hijacking theory that sounds fringe until it doesn't. The third episode arrives at physical debris, then immediately complicates the picture with a theory involving suspicious cargo on board. What makes the series worth three hours is its refusal to hand you a verdict: every explanation it offers raises two it withholds. Stream MH370: The Plane That Disappeared Season 1 on iFILM.
