Synopsis

The episodic structure runs case by case: a vlogger haunted during a social media stunt, a child's bedroom that has killed several visitors, a countryside witch that surfaces every twelve years, a journalist's hitman who needs finding. Will's publisher sends Kelly along to manage his profile; his partner Joe works crime scenes while quietly trying to repair things with an estranged daughter. Each case is self-contained — but all eight trace the same line back to the water canal where Will's sister drowned two decades ago. He has kept the memory of that day deliberately incomplete.
