Synopsis
Mort sur la piste (2023) — or Death on the Track — is a French TV crime thriller directed by Philippe Dajoux; watch it online on iFILM. A racing driver's body turns up on the Le Mans circuit just before the 24-hour race's first practice runs, dragged there deliberately.
Captain Sabrina Nedjard (Éléonore Bernheim) takes the case, with Ryan Martin (Jason Priestley) — an LAPD officer on an international exchange — riding along as official observer. The two barely share a protocol, let alone a working style. Their inquiry pulls them deep into the paddock and workshop of a well-known amateur team, where an authoritarian father's grip on his children has long since warped into something the sport can't contain.
