Synopsis
Jesse Stone: Thin Ice (2009) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, with Tom Selleck in the lead. The police chief of sleepy Paradise gets pulled into a case his superiors would much rather he drop.
An unsanctioned stakeout in Boston goes wrong, and both Stone and Captain Healy are shot. Soon after, a grieving mother turns up: her son was ruled dead long ago, yet a cryptic letter postmarked from Paradise convinces her the case deserves a second look. Stone takes it on, even as Internal Affairs and his own department lean on him to back off.
It's another entry in the run of TV films adapted from Robert Parker's novels. Selleck plays Stone weary and spare — a hard-drinking, tight-lipped cop more at ease with his dog than with people.
