Synopsis

Heiress, rebel, revolutionary — Rose walks away from a fortune and a polished English upbringing to join the IRA. In the spring of 1974 she leads an armed raid on a grand house south of Dublin, stripping nineteen old-master paintings off the walls to trade for imprisoned comrades. Then the film narrows to a handful of claustrophobic days in a rented cottage, where she waits and every passing car sounds like the police.
