Curtains (1983) is a Canadian slasher you can watch online on iFILM. Star actress Samantha Sherwood wants the lead in director Jonathan Stryker's new play so badly that she checks into a real asylum to study the unstable character — only for the scheming filmmaker to abandon her there and go hunting for a fresh face.

Stryker gathers six young hopefuls at his isolated country mansion for a weekend of auditions and quiet rivalry. Samantha, wise to the betrayal, claws her way out and shows up too. Then the candidates start dying one by one, stalked by a killer hidden behind a grotesque old-hag mask. John Vernon and Samantha Eggar lead the cast under director Richard Ciupka. The film has aged into a genre cult favorite, largely thanks to one ice-skating sequence that fans still talk about. Cold, eerie and unmistakably early-'80s — a treat for classic slasher hounds.
