Synopsis
Body of Proof (2011), Season 1 is the ABC crime drama you can watch online on iFILM — nine episodes that introduce Dr. Megan Hunt, a star neurosurgeon whose career ended in a car crash and restarted in the morgue.
This first run is all about the reinvention. Megan now finds answers in corpses instead of patients: a bruise pattern, a bloody palm print, a wound that doesn't fit the official story. It opens with a jogger pulled from the Schuylkill and rolls through cases where the obvious verdict is almost always wrong — a staged suicide, a body cut up to look like a serial killer's work, a man killed by his own surgeon. Around the casework, she fumbles toward a relationship with her daughter Lacey and clashes with Detective Bud Morris, who can't stand her bedside manner with the dead.
Dana Delany anchors it as a woman more fluent with the deceased than the living, prickly without losing you. A confident starting point for the series. Watch Body of Proof Season 1 online on iFILM.
