Worn down by work, chores and two kids, Silvia rents a spare room from a woman she has only just met and finally gets time alone. Back home it turns into improvised survival: the husband juggles the household, the younger kids cope, and the eldest son suddenly lands on the verge of being expelled. Director Hana Hendrychová refuses to make the escape either a bad-mother drama or a light farce — it sits with a kind of exhaustion films rarely show. Petra Hřebíčková leads.
